“Suzy, we would like to thank you and all your staff for the great time hosting the World Police and Fire games at the Whistler Golf Club. Your club was the favorite of the 500 competitors. Being there for the three days I could see how much your staff love working there. Once again it was pleasure dealing with you and all your staff.”

World Police and Fire Games
One would think that organizing a golf tournament for 20 guys in their 20’s might be difficult and stressful, however that was not the case at the Whistler Golf Club. Starting weeks before our tee-off date, the Sales and Coordinating team of Suzy and Ro ensured that every detail of our tournament was looked after. Beginning with organizing our 4-somes to arranging types of tournament play to setting up KP’s and longest drive holes, Suzy and Ro made it all very easy. Also, finding a time to accomodate our party of 20 around OUR schedule i thought was going to be a challenge. Of course that was not the case. Ro was fantastic in finding us a Friday afternoon time slot for 5 consecutive tee-off times! When we arrived on the day of our tournament, the entire service staff at the course was aware of our tournament and went out of their way to greet us. The shuttle service drove each 4-some to and from the driving range (where we received unlimited balls to warm up). The golf carts were labeled with the names of each pairing per 4-some so as each 4-some arrived to the 1st tee our carts were marked and ready to go. On the opening tee, a very nice gentlemen gave us an excellent summary of the golf course, pin lay-outs, and daily conditions. Throughout the round, we constantly were treated by the service cart, which offered excellent food, drinks, and cold beer. The course itself was in superb condition. Forgiving fairways at times, at others requiring precision shots hooking (or slicing) around dog legs and over rivers and ponds. Reading and trusting the score card lay-outs essential and they were bang on with distance. Very exciting for avid golfers! Greens were challenging and fast. Many presented double and triple breaks. The biggest “wow” factor had to have been the setting. The views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains from the course were simply out-of-this-world! A true ‘Must See to Believe’ experience of Golf. Following our round, reserved tables awaited us at the restaurant situated just off the 18th green. Great for viewing the following groups putting out and finishing up their rounds. Food menus were great providing a great selection of appetizers and main courses, and once again, the restaurant staff was on point and genuinely interested in our rounds and experience! Thanks again to the entire team at the Whistler Golf Club! Great job!”
